Sofia Gibson, Daughter of Marine Corps officer, will be awarded $1,000 to further her education.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – October 28, 2019 —Bonsai Finance is pleased to announce Sofia Gibson as the winner of the 2019 Veterans Scholarships. Ms. Gibson will be awarded $1,000 from the Better Loan Blog team to help her further her education and cover associated expenses. Sofia is the daughter of a US Marine Corps officer.

The Better Loan Blog Veterans Scholars Award celebrates veteran and dependent students who strive for excellence in their lives. The scholarship provides a one-time payment of $1,000 for current or future education costs. To be eligible for the scholarship program, students must be dependents of a veteran or active duty member of the U.S. Military service. Eligible applicants must be high school seniors or graduates who are already enrolled or will enroll at an accredited college, university, or post-graduate technical or vocational school.
